Brilliant Traces

Directors Note

I don't really think you can ever truly escape grief. It stays with you, an extra bit of baggage on a journey. Connects itself to your body, becomes a part of you, it sneaks on for the ride. You can contain it, soothe it, talk about it, but it never really goes away.

However sometimes you decided to ignore it because you have to. Pushed back to the far reaches, the inner cupboard, locked in and boarded up,a temporary bandage, it is never really gone.

And then sometimes it explodes. I wont give away the ending. I wont tell you why Rosannah appears 3,000 miles away from her home. Or why Henry remains locked in a cabin far from civilization. Just that they are simply flailing out, hovering, waiting for someone to listen. And perhaps they have found that in each other. Maybe locked in this cabin, miles away from humanity, they can finally let go. Maybe that's what we all need sometimes: someone, anyone, simply to listen.

Enjoy the Show.
